Located in Sainte Marie du Mont, in the heart of the Marais du Cotentin et du Bessin Nature Reserve, Domaine Utah Beach covers 334 hectares of unspoilt countryside, just a few minutes from the sea.
Just 5 minutes from Utah Beach, you’ll be staying in the heart of a region steeped in history. The major sites of the D-Day landings on 6 June 1944 are easily accessible: Utah Beach, Sainte-Mère-Église (10 mins), Omaha Beach, the American Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer, Pointe du Hoc (30 mins) and the Caen Memorial (50 mins).
Whether you’re a history buff, a lover of the great outdoors or simply looking to get away from it all, the Cotentin offers a wealth of things to discover right within your reach.

Top attractions to explore
Set off to explore Normandy’s iconic sites, such as: the Bayeux Tapestry (40 mins), William the Conqueror’s castle in Caen (50 mins) or the magnificent Mont Saint-Michel (1 hr 30 mins), all within easy reach.
A day of bad weather? Head to the La Hague Planetarium or explore the seabed at the Cité de la Mer, Europe’s deepest aquarium, located in Cherbourg (35 mins) opposite the world’s largest artificial harbour.
For a break in the countryside, head to Barfleur, Tatihou Island, the Beauguillot nature reserve, the wild landscapes of La Hague or the Utah Beach golf course, which offers a stunning view of the sea.

Our Activities / Tailor-made tours
Jeep tours departing from our Domaine
Normandy Discovery Tours, invites you to climb aboard a Second World War jeep and step back in time. Discover the history of the American paratroopers who landed in and around the iconic village of Sainte-Marie-du-Mont, and learn about the missions of the soldiers who landed on Utah Beach on 6 June 1944.
Set against a backdrop of sea, marshes and countryside, this two-hour tour offers a moving and educational experience, giving you a deeper understanding of the history of these young men who left everything behind to liberate Europe.

Classic car enthusiasts particularly love the roads of the Cotentin. With little traffic, perfectly maintained and flanked by varied landscapes, they offer the ideal playground for driving enthusiasts.
We have put together several iconic routes to Cap de la Hague, Val de Saire, Suisse Normande and Mont-Saint-Michel so you can make the most of your getaway.
The Cotentin by motorbike
The motorbike: the perfect way to explore
Our beautiful countryside and roads in perfect condition make our region ideal for motorbike rides. We’ve put together the best routes for you, in the form of maps and itineraries.
• At Domaine Utah Beach, your motorbikes won’t be left out in the open. We have a shelter where you can park them.
• On site, you’ll find all the tools you need for minor repairs: oil, chargers, a motorbike wash, etc.
• For major repairs and/or breakdown assistance, you can count on our mechanic/specialist, located 13 km from the Domaine.

We offer a variety of itineraries through the nature reserve and the picturesque villages in the surrounding area, tailored to your preferred level of difficulty and distance.

Our workshop is available to service and recharge your bike if it has a battery.
